In collaboration with the University CETYS and WeCanCode.org once more brings to you the Ensenada Hackathon 2022 will be held on November 11, 2022. We are seeking to reunite the best talent in the region in one place, programming over a two-day period. Be part of this unique experience where you'll have the opportunity to use your creativity and talent to create amazing things alongside brilliant minds fighting for 1st place! Requirements
Who can participate?
Any student or graduate with passion and experience in software development or web design can apply to the Hackathon.
How many people can participate?
Applications will be reviewed and a limited number of participants will be chosen. If you were chosen, you will receive an email no later than November 10th, 2022.
Should I gather my own team?
Yes, you must create your 5-6 person team but register individually making sure to mention the name of the team you belong to.
What can my team develop?
They can develop whatever they like, from a website to a mobile app. All programming must take place during the Hackathon.
How will the teams be formed?
The number of members in each team will be limited to 5-6 people. You can also work alone if you like. In the previous sessions, you will have time to meet the other members and we will help you choose your team.
Is it allowed to work on previously developed codes?
Definitely not. All programming must be during the Hackathon, no previous code is allowed. Our panel of judges are experts and know what is possible to unfold in 24 hours.
What should I bring to the event?
You must present an official photo ID (The name on the ID must be the same as on the application) and your laptop.
